During the past 12 years as President/CEO, it has been an incredible journey, leading Icon from an already strong and financially sound institution to an elite institution, one with a fun and unique culture, driven by higher standards. ​As the author of “Don’t Sabotage Your Career,” Connie shares insight and passion for empowering others to reach their fullest potential, gain superior communication and interpersonal skills, and lead to resolve multiple and complex issues (financial, legal, human resource, operational).​

Whitney Brown Grisaffi is the President of Ted Brown Music. She and her sister, Stephanie, are third-generation owners of this 89-year-old family business. They operate six locations based out of Tacoma, Washington, and have recently welcomed Whitney’s son, Garrison, to the Company as a store manager. Whitney has served on the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Board, the AIMM (Alliance of Independent Music Merchants) Advisory Board, and is the current President for the National Association of School Music Dealers (NASMD).
